Church of the Redeemer [Anglican], Highgate, Ontario. Lye I/4, c. 1900.
The country village of Highgate is the home of this lovely small tracker. It was restored after the church carried out extensive interior renovations. With the exception of some bass Opens in the facade, the organ is enclosed.
Overall, the organ is gentle and refined, but it has the usual perky Stopped Diapason of the period. The keyboard touch is very light and responsive.
