Christ Church Anglican, Markdale, Ontario. Breckels and Matthews II/9, 1908

The failing Kilgen-style windchests of this organ were replaced with new electric-pulldown slider chests. Originally pneumatic, the B & M chests had been electrified in the mid-twentieth century.

The overall tonal effect of the organ is refined, yet rich and full. Typical of organs from this period, the Harmonic Flute adds considerable brightness to the organ, both at unison pitch, and when super-coupled.
